“Chi sei?” is the title of the new album of the swiss singer and composer who everybody remembers as the only one from Tessin to represent Switzerland at the Eurosong after Anita Traversi .
“Chi sei?” is more than a come-back. It’s a good quality jump, it’s a fully played record, vibrating and devoid of the help of easy technologies.
The album is produced by Nicola Calgari’s Third Swiss Records (Prozac+, Sottotono, Afterhours, Matia Bazar) in collaboration with Francesco Caprini’s Terzo Millennio label from Milan ( Timoria, Marlene Kuntz, Litfiba, Soon…) and distributed by SELF. It contains 10 new tracks and 1 cover, “America” by Gianna Nannini, archetype of the female rock who’s nearly the record’s symbol.
“Non lo farò” is immediately catchy, starts as a ballad but it surprises, flowing in a strong and broken rhythm, in spite of the voice remaining very melodic. This single is a potential radio hit due to the impact and the particular guitars rhythms. As always with Barbara’s autobiographical touch, the lyrics show the uneasiness about a privat conflict, the pride for her own opinions even in the intimacy.
“Chi sei?” marks a change: in fact Barbara is changing dressing and look, but also her music.
“Chi sei?” is a light beam that nails her on the wall, the rifle’s sight of who didn’t understand that her night wandering doesn’t hide suspicious purposes or perverted plots: it’s only about the need of wild emotions, like standing on the edge of a skyscraper, looking for large spaces over the city and intimacy to find in herself rebel feelings that fade away in the day light.

VOTATE LA MIA CANZONE IN CONCORSO A EUROSONG 2012
Che sorpresa!!!
Dopo anni dalla sua partecipazione a uno dei concorsi canori più seguiti nel mondo, Barbara Berta torna all’ Eurosong contest e partecipa alla selezione per la prossima edizione, “Azerbaijan 2012”, con una canzone dal titolo emblematico : “L’assenza”.
La strada inizia con la selezione per la Svizzera Italiana della canzone da portare alla Finale nazionale, per la quale viene chiamato a giudicare anche il pubblico internauta, vota subito Barbara collegandoti al seguente link:

Barbara oltre ad interpretare la canzone ne è anche l’autrice e si avvale di collaborazioni importanti, come l’arrangiatore e produttore Marco Guarnerio, già 883 (Max Pezzali), Fiorello, Alice, Tricarico, le Vibrazioni, ma anche il sassofonista Nicola Calgari (Matia Bazar, Eros Ramazzotti, Treves Blues Band....).
L’autore della musica è Mario Gancitano, compositore “giovane” di estrazione classica, sensibile, originale, assolutamente incontaminato e poliedrico. Scrive canzoni ma anche opere e musiche da film, orecchiabile ma intenso, allegro ma malinconico, con idee che pesca direttamente dal cuore, ricco di una creatività pura e libero da ogni vincolo esterno.

Voilà du nouveau...
Après la sortie de son Maxi CD « Jamais baisser les bras » en 2006, Cédric Guerry, qui s’est fait connaître sous le nom de scène « Saïko », choisit dorénavant d’emprunter la voie de la Lumière.
Assis au bord d’un lac, il passe des jours, des semaines et des mois à méditer. Ces méditations lui font prendre conscience de l’importance du moment présent. Ainsi, il fait ce qu’on appelle : « Un lâcher prise » de ce lourd sac à dos contenant le passé.
Léger et zen, sur le chemin du retour, il fait une merveilleuse rencontre : La Paix.
Une Paix intérieure qui ne s’explique pas mais qui se ressent. C’est pour cela qu’il décide de transmettre à ses frères et sœurs, par le biais de la musique, des messages d’Amour, de Paix, d’Espoir et d’Unité.
Pour ce faire, il fait appel à son complice Lawrence Lina, compositeur et guitariste hors pair. Ils nomment le fruit de leur collaboration:
