The Swiss–New Zealand power trio Carson, stands for a distinctive heavy sound that moves between stoner, grunge, and psychedelic rock. With over 200 shows across Europe, Carson has established itself as a tight and experienced live band. The trio has toured with Karma to Burn, Siena Root, and Deville, and has shared stages with acts such as King Buffalo, Elder, Greenleaf, Valley of the Sun, Black Rainbows, and Duel. Festival appearances include Up in Smoke Festival (CH), Fuzz Fest (SWE), Pietra Sonica (IT), Palp Festival (CH), Rock im Wald (DE), and Openair Gränichen (CH).
The current album When Gods Know Why was released in September 2025 and received an overwhelmingly positive international response. The record earned 9/10 points from Time For Metal, placed in the Top 5 of the Eclipsed editorial charts, reached #7 in the Doom Charts, and received enthusiastic reviews in magazines and webzines such as Eclipsed, Legacy, inHard, and Artnoir.
The band is already working on new material. The next album will be released on the US label Blues Funeral Recordings
