maurice's first single "stärneklar" was the official song for the OUTSIDE FESTIVAL in dielsdorf/zürich 2004 and reached no. 42 in the official swiss single charts. in the same year he also had been on tour as a backing vocalist with LUNIK. after that over 200'000 people saw his succesful performances as "the engineer" in "miss saigon" (2005), as "luigi lucheni" in "elisabeth" (2006) and finally as "jean valjean" in "les misérables" (2007) at the thunerSeespiele on the lake of thun. in the meantime he was recording his debut album "LIFE VEST UNDER MY SEAT" with his band directed by detlef mohrmann and oli zülch (co-producers of the german bands "juli" and "liquido") in bochum, germany. "LIFE VEST UNDER MY SEAT" had been released on august 3rd 2007 in switzerland and is available on i-tunes since september 21st, 2007.
