Album-Release on March 12, 2010

Half a year after the release of his first Single 'Hesitate' - which saw considerable airplay in Swiss radio stations - Domi Schreiber (William White / HNO) is releasing with 'romantic archeology' a diverse and mature debut album. Calling his solo project 'MyKungFu', this singer/ songwriter talks of the heart's plate tectonics and muses about the deafening calm of lost love. After the danceable 'Hesitate' he presents his newest single 'Please please me', which reflects in his words the longing for the beauty of a dawning spring. This sensitive and very catchy ballad is a good example of the album's mixture of deep melancholy and at the same time constant presence of hope. 'Please please me' enchants the listener
with its beautiful melody and keeps you coming back for more.

Domi Schreiber considers the eleven songs on 'romantic archeology' as just a snapshot and keeps continuously reinventing his music on stage with varying formations. Performing as a duo he receives help from an accordion (from former East Germany), an old typewriter, an ancient babyphone and a glass of water. As a trio the audience is treated to kettledrums, and mouth percussion, while the quintet formation gets supported by the raw power of drums and bass.

'MyKungFu live to me is always some kind of magic hat - I love musical
collaborations!' says Domi Schreiber. The last time he proved this point
was a performance in the renowned Club MOODS (Zurich), where he shared the stage with twelve guest musicians.

Domi Schreiber was born 1973 in the city of Bern. He grew up in Basel, hit puberty in Solothurn, went to school in Biel and discovered his fascination for the guitar in Geneva. He eventually studied music in Zurich, joined his first 'real' rock band 'HNO' in Aarau and finally lost his heart to the city of Winterthur. This is also where he met
singer/songwriter William White.

While touring Europe with William White's Band 'The Emergency', Domi
Schreiber had already worked on a few songs of his own - yet it was still not the right time for MyKungFu to come into its own. Since April 2009 it has grown to a full-fledged solo project with regular shows on stages all over Switzerland.

Holding the new CD in his hands, Domi Schreiber says 'The first album is now finished, glitters in the sun of a dawning spring and casts its warm rays onto the last remainders of snow'.

By the way: The video to the MyKungFu song 'Everything is good' has been available for almost a year now. It tastes best on the website of director Marco Lutz.

Oh Domi, das Konzert heute Abend war einfach unbeschreiblich! Himmlisch, berührend, schön und einmalig. Ich war schon mehrmals an einem Konzert von dir, aber heute, das war wieder ganz anders und einfach wunderbar! Ich bin mega glücklich nach Hause gegangen. DANKE dir und der ganzen Band!
