Pompelmoessap is an energetic elixir, with a fresh, subtle sound, distinguished by a light and captivating groove composed by 3 childhood friends, Pompelmoessap link friendship and music to push their work beyond the conventions of minimal sound.
Already seduced by rock, blues, jazz and classical music, it was in 1998 that the 3 friends discovered electronic music and were suddenly mesmerized by detroit/techno sounds.
The trio started collaborating in 2004 in studio by experimenting with soft vibes and lush textures.  However, it was by watching Luciano (Cadenza) composing in his own studio, that Pompelmoessap became deeply inspired to create their own sound. As a result, they decided to commit themselves entirely to learning the art of music composition by training as electronic music producers at “SAE Geneva” and gaining professionnal experience in recording studios. At the same time, the team began to set up their own home studio in the near mountains overlooking Lake Geneva and soon Pompelmoessap was born. 
Soon after, Pompelmoessap started to present themselves in the French speaking minimal scene with live performances and DJ sets in Lausanne and Geneva. Then Chaton (Plak Records) descovered Pompelmoessap through an on-line live set and invited them to produce a “Plak” LP on his label. Pompelmoessap are a regular presence at Plak parties and at Pinping Club Geneva where the crowds love to groove to their  minimal yet frenzied vibes.
