BAROCK RAIN
The pandemic has triggered many changes, both in the world around us and in how we move through it. Such processes are, at best, accompanied by introspection; knowing oneself, exploring one‘s inner self, looking critically at one‘s approach to the world, helps to find one‘s way in a confused universe. And this is exactly where Barock Rain comes in. The band has existed since 2022, but all members have already earned their spurs in other formations: The names Lifecrusher, Suffer, Excoriated, and Fever Dreams, to name just a few, are certainly familiar to friends of hard guitar sounds in Switzerland. With Barock Rain, Gilles (drums), Dave (bass), Damian (lead guitar), Marius (rhythm guitar), Jan (synths) and Martin (vocals) turn to quieter, poppier, catchier sounds. In their wavy (old- )pop-rock, Barock Rain discuss the (Barock!) city of Solothurn with all its shady and sunny sides, life in this city, experiences that are inseparable from this corner of the world. Sometimes it sounds more straight-forward rock, sometimes more like meandering indie, but in any case, always bittersweetly melancholic. The music of Barock Rain takes you in like the smell of a warming cup of coffee in a café of a city you wanted to forget for a long time. Why you are here again, you don‘t know, and you want to cry, but it is still beautiful. This must be what it feels like to return to Solothurn.

JAMMED
Jammed is an alternative rock band built with vocals, two electric guitars, a bass guitar and percussions. Their music draws inspiration from rock, metal, punk, hip-hop and much more - from which they take style while adding a personal colour. The mix of instruments and the energy released express their love of music. Philippe (guitar and vocals), Noé (guitar) and Adrien (bass) attended the same music school. They met and became friends, sharing a deep interest in music. In 2023, they were joined by Didier (drums), who met them in a Jam session. Their four EPs represent the group's four members and the four natural elements of Water, Earth, Air and Fire. Three EPs are currently available
