Biography

Formed in 2000 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Cycle Opérant has meticulously explored the Electronic Culture as a musical collective and developed step by step their relationship with their audience:

Live acts and DJ sets in many Swiss clubs and festivals (e.g. Geneva, Lausanne, Bern, Basel, Zürich).

Shows and stage performances (Burnout bureautique, [MY]self), outdoor happenings (Caddigitaux, Microclubbing) and event organisation (Festival Les Digitales, diy festival, Le Lux, Bikini-Test, Case-à-chocs, ...).

One-off performances and long-term collaborations with many cultural organisations (museums, symposiums, screenings, Cinémathèque Suisse, etc.) in Switzerland, musical accompaniment of live shows (theater, contemporary dance).
