"Society Wants" is the song that best describes Diana K. and her music: a strong desire to sing mixed with an only-too-reasonable career in business.
Diana K. wrote her first song "Farewell isn't my Friend" in 2006, but this was just one extra step in pursuing her passion for music. She learned classical guitar at Monaco's music academy from age 9 and started singing at various open mics and on any possible occasion. Strong support from family and friends pushed her to attempt music contests and castings. Among those, her first prize at Monaco's Young Talent's contest gave her the opportunity to perform on the Principality's biggest stages.
Having moved to Switzerland to study business and marketing, Diana K.'s heart was still with music. An NRJ contest gave her the opportunity to sing a duet with Jesse McCartney at La Laiterie in Strasbourg and she soon found her place on Swiss stages as well, like opening for Fredrika Stahl's concert at Lausanne's well know music club "Bleu Lézard".
Diana's experiences of life, her travels and the people she meets along the way inspire her very acoustic and warm songs. With just her guitar, she reveals herself to the public in the most sincere way with one ambition: to share what matters most and forget the world.
