Biography

DJ PLAYER started his success story as solo artist in 1995. He progressed to House-Music via Drum & Bass and UK-Garage and is now known for his innovative and high-quality dj-sets and music-productions.

From 1998 on, DJ PLAYER operated as a team with DJ REMADY and played each weekend throughout Switzerland and abroad (among others, at Ministry of Sound London; Euphoria Festival Poland; Arena Club Kiev; Club Fabrique Moscow; Metropol, Odessa; and many other big locations).

Thanks to agreements with the agencies “United Tribes Bern” (Drum& Bass) and “Sweet & Sexy” (UK-Garage) they featured as an integral part of Switzerland’s music scene. Having issued 7 compilations (each within the national top 5 list) 1 solo album, 3 singles with 3 music-videos (all on high rotation on Viva-TV), PLAYER&REMADY were among the most renowned Swiss music-producers at that time.

In 2003, they founded their own label; “P&R” The brand represented the same named cult-party-serie (in clubs like Supermarket, BBQ, Labor-Bar) and deals with the publishing and licensing of music. The name PLAYER&REMADY was an integral part of the club-scene and the own productions of them were increasingly discussed in the industry.

In 2005, one of the most important steps in DJ PLAYER’s career was signing the artist-contract with the label “HOUSEWORKS”. The name stands for one of the biggest and highest quality House-Music-Labels in the world.

With several releases like “Electrical Orgasm”, “If you believe in love”, “This Motherfucker”, “This Pictures” and remixes for Phunk Electric “Video Game Crash”, Spit “Falling”, Doc Phatt “Hey DJ” and many more. PLAYER&REMADY were part in the sets of many DJs around the planet.

Not to forget the tracks they could place on DJ Antoine’s Mix CD’s (“Black Album”, “Mainstation”, “Live in Dubai”, “Live in Moscow”), which all reached gold status in Switzerland!!!

In 2008 they released two CD-Compilations: “Houseworks Megahits 1 & 2”. With over 10000 sales, both CD’s were highlights on the market.

After a 6 months during time out from the business, DJ PLAYER splited up the partnership with REMADY.

He returned with a new team included new booking-agencyand he signed to the well known artist-label “CROSSMUSIC”
Together with JULIUZ CRIME he founded a new studio for producing.

Actually DJ PLAYER is doing remix-projects for artists like SIR COLIN, MR. DA-NOS, CHRISTOPHER S and own productions. He’s dj’ing every weekend in Switzerland and abroad.
