DJ Reas plays since 1987 in a number of Swiss clubs, having worked in Geneva's first specialized record store back in 1993, and opened his own vinyl counter in 2001 to serve quality house, techno, hip hop and jazz or broken beat.
He expresses himself across various shades of house, using the best of different sub-styles as well as more techno records, with a preference for US releases. Covering a wide selection of good dancefloor tunes, his selection borrows from deep house and disco to Detroit techno. Having started with hip hop, Reas is an accomplished spinner who can play smooth sessions or rough up the mix, happy and able to put a third deck to use whenever possible.
Reas produces with friend and Chez Music (NYC) recording artist «Sir» George. Together, they favor a deep yet highly energetic house vibe, as evidenced by releases on the Chez Music and Trax Of Interest (Germany) record labels. Their music enjoys a solid reputation with top US and European house DJs & remixers.
