CROSSROAD PROJEKT
Many of Musicians I met in sessions sad let's play a Blues, that's simple and easy. They say everyone can play Blues. Maybe they might be right. But to put a few chords in a row isn't play the Blues.
I really started very late with Blues. After all these years playing Rock it was a wonderful revelation.
So I spent many nights listening to the blues trying to figure out what kind of Blues I would like to be a part of. I don't wonna be part of the depressed one,- not part of the "what shall I do" one, - neither the one way ticket one ........ but that kind of stuff "which our feelings are made of one" - grateful, respectful, joyful, peaceful, friendly, open, not superficial but authentic - that kind of "thanks Lord for the life I've been allowed to live one"!
In all these Times spent to support different types of Blues Musicians, I made me be sure of, that to play Blues you've got to live it. That's the most difficult part of the task. To feel the life we are living is not that easy. Searching for the groove within you expects, be willing to keep a steady rythm by yourself and be focused on the Beat - is a hard work.
Not that what you want but that what the situation are expecting you to do issues that kind of groove, Beat and sound I would like to let me fall into.
