‘80s inspiriert und urban: Echotypes präsentiert Ordinary Lovin’
Es begann mit dem legendären Pro-One Synthesizer.
Als Jeffrey das erste Mal bei Leoš im Studio war, bekam er ein Originalexemplar aus den Achtzigern in die Finger. Dieser Synthesizer, den Leoš sich damals mit 15 Jahren zulegte, war der Grundstein für die Single Ordinary Lovin’, die am 25. Februar erscheint. Jeffrey hatte anfangs etwas Mühe mit dem analogen Gerät, komponierte dann aber die markante Basslinie direkt vom Fleck weg.
Gemeinsam mit Floren Redzepi als Co-Autor entstanden die Hookline und erste Teile vom Vers. Noelle rundete das Ganze ab und steuerte
die zweite Strophe zum Duett bei. Jeffrey und Noelle singen über den Beziehungsalltag. Nach frisch verliebt kommen Unsicherheit und Zweifel – ein Auf und Ab der Gefühle.
Das Produzententeam von Ordinary Lovin’ bezeichnet den Sound als spacey und organisch.

‘80s-inspired and spacey: Echotypes presents 'Ordinary Lovin’'
It all started with the legendary Pro-One synthesizer. When Jeffrey first walked into Leoš’ studio, he got his hands on an original from the ‘80s. This synthesizer, which Leoš got when he was 15, was the cornerstone of the song 'Ordinary Lovin’'. Jeffrey created the distinctive bass while trying out the analogue instrument. The hook and the first parts of the verse were soon written, as Floren Redzepi joined as co-author. Noelle rounded it off by contributing the second verse to the duet. The song is about being stuck in a relationship rut: After all the sparks of falling in love comes uncertainty and doubt – a rollercoaster of emotions.
The track delivers a mixture of spheric synths, ‘80s-inspired drum machines and urban loops. The producer team of 'Ordinary Lovin’' describe it as spacey and organic.
