Benedetto 'Benni' Vigne is – in addition to his work as a music journalist and Romansh writer – also a pioneer of Romansh rock music. In his 50-year career, he has played in various bands and produced four albums, including the legendary tribute work 'Lain Fabular – ils Beatles per Rumantsch'. The first single from the upcoming album 'melodias da mi'tatta' (my grandma's melodies) is called 'angular tgavals' (Stealing Horses). Benni's duet with singer Olivia Spinatsch, who comes from his home valley of Surses, proclaims in the chorus 'I'm too young for things like that' and then goes on to list several wild or unusual adventures that the protagonists are ready for after all. The song is deliberately kept in the archaic 'Fifties progression' and quotes towards the end a slightly twisted old teenage song from the Surses. The video clip is showing Olivia and Benni playing a tricky game of jass.
