“Sideways” is a song celebrating the bad dreams – we are sure – many of us have, where one is running but realizing not making any headway, and even worse, not just staying on the same spot, but actually on the wrong spot in life. It depicts the many odd situations in which we feel so detached from the world around us, when all appears like a sci-fi movie in which we play the role of the nutty alien bystander who is constantly on the wrong side, on the wrong side of the road, against the wrong way driving traffic of the rest of the universe.

Der Song “Sideways” zelebriert unsere Albträume, welche sicher viele von uns öfters haben: Wir rennen mit ganzer Kraft – doch wir kommen nicht oder kaum vom Fleck, oder noch schlimmer, wir treten an Ort; bleiben am falschen Ort im Leben! Das Lied zeichnet die mannigfaltigen Momente, in welchen wir uns im falschen Film, zwischen Stuhl und Bank und neben den Schuhen wieder finden, so quasi wie ein Nebendarsteller in einem Sci-Fi Film, der aus einen fremden andersartigen Universum zu einer ihm fremden Realität gestossen ist und zur Belustigung aller anderen auch ständig daneben liegt, auf der falschen Seite der Strasse, gegen eine Horde von Geisterfahrern des restlichen Universums.
