Born on 17.10.1982 in Chur - grown up in Felsberg by the Rhein, (Canton Grisons, Switzerland) with two older sisters.
Martin Hegner did not dedicate his childhood free time to Nintendo or the PC - he preferred to spend his time with his father's instruments and tried to get good sounding tones and rhythms out of them. The joy and fascination of music and playing the guitar came from his father Vital, they often sang and played together on family evenings - outside by the fire under the pergola, on camping holidays, at Christmas and birthdays - the guitar always came along.
When he was about thirteen Martin founded the band "The Trox" with friends from the village, the genre was punk rock, Martin played electric guitar and practiced singing. When the drummer left the village and a new drummer took over the role, the band also changed the name to "Just A Joke". After some time, the drummer went different ways and a new drummer took over, so the band name was also changed to "Projekt 12à30". This band remained for 6 years, an album (Roboter-Frau) and an EP (O9) was recorded. In 2009 the band was disbanded.
Since then Martin continues to compose and play on his own, taught himself to record music in his home studio and additionally attended the school for "Electronic Music Producer" at the SAE Institute (School of Audio Engineering) Zurich in 2015. Since then, he has continued to develop his home studio technically and to deepen and refine his production, pre-mastering and mastering skills.
After playing in bands, Martin tried out various musical styles, including salsa, punk rock, classical piano pieces and film compositions - all with the aim of further development. During this time, he created some tracks, songs - including film accompaniments.
In 2020 he now composes and produces - during the Corona crisis - under his own label "Hego Music Records" his first single "Mountains Of Grisons" release on 29.05.
