A new label is rising to the surface from the depths of the ocean of electronic music. Loaded with the experiences of subcultural gatherings, driven by the revolutionary spirit of passion, and animated by an international, decentralized network of befriended artists, Waswotsch feels obliged to release good music. For us, this means above all that we do not want to cater to genres or scenes, but rather publish the music that touches us and to which we have or can form a personal connection. Without blinders, you will find everything from music for sound systems to experimental pieces in the growing catalogue. Maybe a bit more subtle or crazier than customary in the jet set. We always try to stay open for the unexpected. Essential to us is the lifeblood that is in every single track. And that's what you feel, simply, differently.

We see ourselves first and foremost as artists. And because the DIY idea is important to us, and also because we would like to remain independent, we take our own reins and place our music hub in the landscape of the many great labels that have been contributing to a lively music movement since time immemorial or only recently. Our declared goal is to release on vinyl or digital, but not necessarily on both media at the same time. We want to use the most exciting and the most suitable from both worlds.
