Biography

debonair is composer musician BORIS WITMER and producer musician FLORIAN SENN, a project formed in 2001. The duo's cinematic sounding music features a transparent and well-tempered mix of acoustic and electronic elements. Their latest CD release SOMEWHERE, MIDAIR (vacuum records / rec rec, 2006) unites melancholy song sketches, atmospheric instrumentals and experimental tracks and lo-fi motifs.
Among lovers of innovative Swiss music, debonair has been an insider's tip since their acclaimed independent release THE POLLENFLIGHT E.P. (2001). In earlier years, BORIS WITMER was the tour-guitarist for bands such as Rosebud, Supernova and Lovebugs. FLORIAN SENN's main profession is playing bass for the Lovebugs.
