Nun, über ein Jahr ist vergangen. Jetzt gehen die Diebe wieder nach Winterthur in die Dalastudios. Ein Neues Album wird wohl noch dieses Jahr fertig werden. Da bereits im Oktober 2006 13 Songs aufgenommen wurden, die aber bis heute noch nicht veröffentlicht wurden, findet Ihr hier einige Kostproben (natürlich nur roh gemischt)...
diebesbande since 1999... ...as long as parents say good night to their children, the "diebesbande" will make music. Diebesbande snitches where ever they can. The haul of "diebesbande" are mostly storys about citzens of Zurich. Storys about how men and women are afraid to change their spots, even if they sit opposite to each other. Storys about never ending days. Storys about how easy it is to hide in the crowd. Music which is sad, real, cynical, humorous and affecting. Diebesbande composed more than 90 Songs. "Diebesbande" played more than 70 Gigs within 3 years.
The Album "mit ihm & ihre" is the first official release after a few live recordings and an inofficial album (recorded on a four-line-tape-recorder). The 15 songs on the new Album were recorded, mixed and mastered within four days at dalastudios in Winterthur. Although recorded in the studio it sounds more like a live Album. There are no overdubs, nothing unnecessary - simply an indipendent album. Music which combines Folk-Rock-Indie with Ballads.The Album is full of surprises. Diebesbande says: After a while people may know, which song follows after the other on the record "mit ihm & ihre" but they'll never know, which Song we're going to play next on stage."
