Biography

ILYAS, duo formed in 2015 in Fribourg, Switzerland.
Lino’s passion for deep house and Alex’s love for rock’n’roll gave birth to this project combining the analog with the digital world through, electronic production, guitar and vocals.
The two of them, despite their diverse musical origins, found a common ground with Nicolas Jaar and his project, Darkside, definitely a major influence in the conceptualization of their sound and live performances.
