Biography

Michael Benedikt aka Florian Egli (*1982) is a Zurich based multi-awarded saxophonist, bassist and producer. He is active as a freelance musician in various bands and projects in the jazz and pop field. Mainly living as a touring musician from 2010 until 2020 (Phillip Fankhauser, Swiss Jazz Orchestra, Raphael Jost and lot's of Horns, to name a few), Florian Egli started to release own music under the name of Michael Benedikt to promote himself as a writer / producer.
