Biography
After more than a decade playing as much as possible, MotherKingdom returns with a
surprising new album. The tone is more serious, the guitars are in your face, the rhythmic
sharpened. This fourth album stands out by its maturity and the quality the songs. “Home
made”, Silent Treatment inherits the American infl uence on the band members, never
losing sight of their European roots. A band solemly addicted to performing. From opening
for Deep Purple to the mythical Cavern Club of Liverpool, from Melkweg in Amsterdam to
Tokyo, MK knows how to win over an audiance. Never easy, the don’t give up. Maybe too
melodic for the metalheads or too powerfull for the Pop fans, it is with sweat and tears that
MK takes the place it desserves. A place that MK seems to have taken full on.
