We Are Troublemaker is a three-piece rock band from the small town Weinfelden, Switzerland. Formed in 2014, the band consists of lead vocalist and bassist Davide Formica, guitarist Gabriele Muscaritolo and drummer Tiago Monteiro. The band members all met in school and quickly bonded over their shared love of making music.
Despite being relatively new to the music scene, We Are Troublemaker have already build a dedicated following in the local swiss music scene. They have performed at several venues showcasing their uniquie sound and style to enthusiastic crowds.
The band’s music features catchy guitar riffs, thought-provoking lyrics, and melodic hooks that stick in the listener’s head.
We Are Troublemaker’s sound draws inspiration from a wide range of artists, including Green Day, Linkin Park, Imagine Dragons, All Time Low and many more. Their music is both catchy and introspective, with lyrics that explore themes of love, loss and self-discovery. The band is constantly working on new material and experimenting with their sound, honing their craft with each new song.
In 2019, the band released their debut EP, “Freedom”, which featured five original tracks that showcased their unique sound. The EP received positive reviews from local critics and helped the band gain more exposure in the local swiss music scene. The band has since been working hard to promote their music through social media, a lot of local live performances, and digital platforms.
The long-awaited debut album “Who We Are” was released on December 22, 2023. The album comprises 15 songs, which were recorded in July 2021 at SoundValley Studio in collaboration with sound engineer David Bollinger. David Egloff, who has been a live member of the band since February 2020, produced the album.
