JAZZ ASCONA - GROOVIN' UP
The JazzAscona festival will again feature plenty young bands and artists for the upcoming 2024 edition, they will be hosted for 3 days in the beautiful collegio Papio and given the possibility to join jam sessions and concerts with the many musicians of great international experience that will be in Ascona during those days.
All of this will be documented through interviews and film footage produced by the International Conservatory of Audiovisual Sciences (CISA) students.
The festival's uniqueness, resources as well as infrastructure will thus be made available to young musicians and filmmakers, allowing them to refine and put their talents into practice in various fields.
A unique initiative, to boost young talents and their development at 360°.

By clicking on "book my band" all participants certify that they have read and accept the following
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- All artists and members of participating bands must be 18 and over.
The average age of the groups must not exceed 26 years.
- Only applications submitted by December 31, 2023 will be considered.
- Your Mx3 profiles must contain at least 1 biography and 1 recent video (2022) in the form of a live performance.
The technical quality and location of the video not relevant (you can film yourselves with your mobile phone in your rehearsal room!).
- The artist or band must be available at least 3 days during the period from 20.6. to 29.6.2024 and have a repertoire of around 90 minutes.
- Artist fees are CHF 100 per person per day, + travel expenses, board and lodging.
- The genres that will be taken into account are: Jazz, Blues, Funk, Soul, Folk, Pop, Rock, Singer-Songwriter and similar.
