Born in Lausanne in 1952, Charles de Ribaupierre started his musical journey in 1967 with Royal System, After Storm, Phallus and Flight. First as a drummer, then keyboardist, guitarist and singer. Until the late 70's he developed his personal music style and a taste for Psychedelic and Progressive Rock, drawing inspiration from many great bands of that time.
After moving to Martigny, he created the Stop Orchestra which released the album "Semolina's Land" as well as the single "A Dream (Boudu's Flight) / Love is Love" in 1983.
After a 27 years long adventure in Paris, he returned to Switzerland in 2022 with a mission: Telling Boudu's Story.
