Biographie
It's 1999. Two friends Eli and Pat, who both have a big passion for music, decide to put a band together. Eli, amateur drummer, and Pat, a would-be singer, don't start before Piter's arrival. One of Pat's friend, Piter accepts right way the idea of joining the band as guitarist.
They star playing covers by several bands such as Metallica, Manowar, Slayer, Black Sabbath. This without the help of a bassist and a second guitarist.
During the following months the band concentrates more and more on the creation of their own songs and on the completion of the line-up.
Several auditions with bassist from the area bring the band to the meeting with Reeks in the fall of 2001.
There is only one guitar missing and a few months after Reeks joined the band, G.ni, former guitarist with Eva Kant (a noise-rock group on the local scene) also joins the band in the spring 2002.
The band seems to be complete but shortly thereafter, because of musical incompatibility, Pat is dismissed. The group, without a voice, keeps going with songwriting.
Being without a voice helps the four to find their own musical identity.
The operation of replacing Pat proves to be a very difficult one. This until April 2003, when Phil joins the band.
With his powerful guttural voice he impresses the band members; Beansidhe was born.
It starts performing live in various local music places with a certain amount of success.
A year later, in June 2004, the first 5-tracks demo EP is released: "Beansidhe's Everlasting Cry" gets critical approval all over the world.
In June 2005 G.ni leaves the band.
Beansidhe persists.
