Line Up: Parsimony, Perfume Lungs, Robot Dog Funeral

PARSIMONY
is a group of young musicians from Lausanne founded in 2019. Leo (drummer), Odilon(guitarist) and Paul (keyboardist) met at High school and shared common musical references (LedZeppelin, Muse, Royal Blood etc…) but wanted to create their own sound. Paul listened to morecontemporary rock, post-hardcore, metalcore music, which quickly influenced the band withoutlosing sight of the classics. The Parsimony style was born! Léo got involved in production and thetrio began recording a few demos. The first concerts came along, but they struggled to find astable vocalist. In 2022, they were selected for the Balélec contest at EPFL and it became urgent tofind a singer who would be a permanent member of the group. Charismatic and motivated, thechoice fell on Stella, who quickly integrated and made the repertoire her own. A month later,Parsimony won the competition and found themselves on the bill for the 40th edition of the Balélec Festival! Marco Rivao (Samael) then joined the band to help them produce their music,notably on their latest releases, Looking Away and Rainbow. Today, the group continues to develop,weaving its web on the networks, producing sounds and visuals: a dynamic enriched by the arrivalof bassist Gab in the group. There’s plenty of motivation to match the ambitions of this youngband!

Perfume Lungs
Dumpfer Bass aus alten Autoboxen, raues Stosslüften durch verrauchte abgefuckte Spunten. Der schöne Abriss. Eine Prise Melancholie, passend zu schnoddrig-schönen Gitarrenriffs, zu denen man fast schlafwandlerisch mitschwingt.

Robot Dog Funeral
Genau hier liegt der Hund begraben; der Sound rund um Jonas Meise, Martin Schaad, Jan Ziswiler und Jonathan von Siebenthal besticht durch schnelle Drums, einen kräftigen Synthesizern, psychedelische Gitarrenklänge und eine mitreissende Stimme. Mal laut und schnell, mal gefühlvoll und mitten ins Herz – Robot Dog Funeral kombiniert Retro und Moderne zu einem unverkennbaren Stil und garantiert Konzerte, die niemand mehr vergisst.

Entstanden 2019 aus interregionalen Freundschaften zwischen Solothurn und Aarau sind Robot Dog Funeral nach etlichen Konzerten zu einem festen Bestandteil in der Nordwestschweizer Musikszene herangewachsen. Konzerte an Veranstaltungen wie Musig ide Altstadt, Träffpunkt Festival oder Sub Divo, um nur einige zu nennen, ergänzen Auftritte als Vorband von Dirty Sound Magnet oder den musikalischen Abschluss der Vernissage «Spiegel-Gelb» (Noé Herzog).
