Where modern Reggae melts with traditional Ska, experimental influences from the musical experience of the band members with time-proven Early Reggae, that’s where Jar is playing. Like the vintage Hammond organ with Leslie amp that gets a boost from modern distortion pedals and echo devices, the bands music too gives in to this symbiosis between tradition and progress. This creates this unique sound that just doesn’t leave you cold. In summer, it fits right in and in winter, it keeps you warm.

The Reggae and Dancehall Soundsystem Zhion Sound was founded in 2012 in zurich switzerland.
It soon became clear, that their music, their show and their entertainment found a wide audience leaving no obstacles in their path towards DJing in clubs and festivals.
Thanks to Baba Roots, one of the biggest Dancehall Labels from Zurich, the 3 young soundbwoys quickly got their chance to play for the Zurich massive regularly!
