Loïc Cardinal is a Swiss pianist and composer based in Zurich, currently pursuing a master's degree in jazz pedagogy at ZHdK. Passionate about exploring jazz, soul, and electronic sounds, he merges these worlds in his project "Best of Both Worlds", blending acoustic piano and synthesizers, inspired by Aaron Parks and Bill Laurance.
Originally from Valais, he began his musical journey under the guidance of Christian Zufferey before refining his skills in Lausanne with Yannick Delez and at the Jazzcampus in Basel, where he studied with renowned artists such as Larry Grenadier and Brad Mehldau.
Active on the Swiss and international scene, Loïc has performed at festivals such as Cully Jazz and JazzOnze+ with his project Cardilepsie and collaborates with artists like Coco Elan, JJ&D, and Helen Ribi. He has also been involved in organizing the festival "Jazz sous les Étoiles" in Saint-Luc since 2017.
