Far in the Swiss Mountains after a long winter 2006 the band was formed by four young musicians with no concrete idea of the music they wanted to play.
After a few compositions a genre combining ancient melodies and powerful epic metal has emerged from this mass of sounds. Influenced by their northern counterparts they dived into this epic approach which suited perfectly with all of them although unusual in their county.
In 2008 we finally could hear their first studio recording. A three songs EP called « Lonely Quest » which aroused a particular interest for the swiss people.
The EP allows them to appear in a Swiss magazine and share the stage with « Eluveitie », « Heidevolk » and « Black Messiah ».
They have the opportunity to shoot a music video. They jumped at the chance to put some colours on their music.
Eager to melodies and to strengthen the folk of their music they start looking for a keyboard. They finally found the right person in 2009, the lineup is complete. They begin to work immediately for the recording a powerful full-length first album.
The five young warriors of Depth Melody crew are trimmed to set sails and conquer new lands and new stages !
