Madness Music is an independent Swiss label dedicated to supporting and developing artists from the French-speaking music scene. Founded by Nessim (producer) and Damien – DEVOFILMS (music video director), the label has built its reputation through ambitious and innovative projects.
The first initiative under the name Madness Management was the project of artist IKAR. In 2010, the label produced the freestyle project M/M, bringing together several artists from Geneva such as IKAR, Mr BILL, ERIAH, FACE, and Aurélie DJEE. The singles from this project reached over 350,000 views on YouTube. Soon after, three mixtapes were released: Mr BIL, FACE to FACE, and DAWA pour les nôtres.
In 2012, Madness Music signed its first artist, ERIAH, producing two EPs and two albums. In 2014, ERIAH won the award for Best Urban Track at the Démotape Clinic of the M4MUSIC Festival. His projects also featured collaborations with renowned international artists such as Scylla, Gandhi, Keny Arkana, Randy Valentine, Greis, and Cali P.
By 2018, the label expanded internationally with Tunisian artist AZ.i, producing eight singles that accumulated over 7 million views on YouTube.
In 2022, Madness Music began working with Afro R’n’B artist MIBSY. His debut single, Deadline, was released in December 2022. In early 2023, a series of three video capsules was released between January and March, followed by several singles throughout the year. In January 2024, MIBSY dropped his first EP, FOCUS, supported by the label. The release gained wide media coverage in Switzerland and France, including features on CANAL+, Mouv’, Trace TV, and more.
The year 2024 also marked the official signing of CELLO PROD, an acclaimed composer with multiple awards (SNEP Gold, Platinum, and Diamond certifications). That same year, Kweezy joined the label, preparing several singles and his first 8-track EP, Night City Vol.1, set to release in 2025.
