Stoneman? You don`t know? Guys, change that as fast as possible! Here is growing the next BIG thing! Stoneman are from Switzerland and are something between "NIN", "Samael" and "Marilyn Manson" (heavymetal.ch magazin).In a dark winter night, where only the snow felt quiet to the earth was the perfect ambience for the young fans, witch loved the hard guitars, the pumping drums and the shouting frontman(zurich news paper). Stoneman startet their career in spring 04 and played allready 30 gigs in 05 and some fantastic support shows for "Within -Temptation", "Soilwork", "Hatesphere", "Thunderstone", "Samael" and others... (news magazin). The boys and the bass playing girl are moving clever between new german hardcore and gothic metal bands like "Atrocity" and "Crematory" just better...(VAMPSTER).The first demo CD (11Tracks) is finished now and is called at the moment: sex.drugs.murder Stoneman is a new star at the great rock olymp, even if they started their career a short time ago.We all hope, that they will rock for a long time in the style of the "Nine inch Nails".

"Eine finstere Winternacht, in der wirklich nur der Schnee leise zur Erde fiel, war die perfekte Stimmung für die jungen Fans, die sich entrückt in die Klänge der harten Gitarren, der prägnanten Vokale und der bangenden Drums fallen liessen" Stoneman ist eine vierköpfige Rockband.
Gegründet wurde die Band erst letztes Frühjahr 04 doch haben sie sich in der Szene schon einen rechten Namen gemacht, nicht zuletzt, dank ca. 15 Gigs unter anderen im Vorprogramm von "Within Temptation" (NL) und den Helvetiern "Samael".
Die Steinmänner bewegen sich geschickt zwischen neuer deutschen Härte und Bands wie Atrocity oder Cremetory, ohne sich wie die genannten Bands in peinlichkeits-fallstricken selbst zu erwürgen" (Vampster).
Das erste Album ist im Kasten und trägt den Arbeitstitel "sex.drugs.murder" welcher schon alleine das Herz manches Metallers höher schlagen lässt.
Stoneman sind jedenfalls ein neuer Stern am Rockhimmel, auch wenn sie noch ganz unten stehen und werden hoffentlich noch lange "im stile der Nine inch Nails" (BreakOut) weiter rocken !
