TOSCA LEEN – Songs from Zurich, recorded in Nashville
TOSCA LEEN is a singer-songwriter from Zurich, Switzerland. She writes with warmth, a keen eye for human contradictions and a sense of humour that doesn't spare herself. Her songs explore closeness, freedom and the stories we tell ourselves, with empathy and a gentle sense of self-irony.
During her school years, she was mentored by a British musician and sound engineer who shared his experience in language, songwriting and recording. Their time together was shaped by curiosity, playful experimentation and a willingness to revisit musical ideas from different angles. He encouraged her to work through creative dry spells and trust her own judgement. It became an important part of her journey towards artistic independence.
In August 2026, she recorded six original songs at Beaird Music Group in Nashville. Working with experienced studio musicians, she discovered an approach that suited her: direct, focused and leaving plenty of room for making music together.
Today, she develops her music on her own terms and makes conscious choices about the people she works with. Her first releases are planned for 2027 and will be released independently through TOSCA Music GmbH. Each song tells its own story.
Alongside music, TOSCA LEEN studies business administration and has a particular interest in ethical questions. Both reflect the same curiosity about people, decisions and the different directions a life can take.
