In his songs, Lorenzo Contin aka Waverer mainly portrays himself: a man who thinks and feels a bit more than he would like to. A dreamer, reluctant to keep his feet on the ground, and often hard to read. Insecure about his image, he plays around with different roles, only to withdraw again immediately. But behind the guitar and the microphone, Waverer feels strangely at ease. The stage allows, even encourages him to play with words and voices and to contradict himself. Armed with sharp irony, he accidentally shoots himself in the foot every now and then ¬– which is when ¬¬deep fears are revealed, and hard-fought arguments are lost. After all, the truth is so rarely one-sided. The new EP «All of my friends passed out on the floor» is out April 5 on Lauter.
