Alain et Laurent est un looper-band fondé à Lausanne en janvier 2008. Il s’agit d’un duo guitare-batterie qui réunit Alain Volpe à la batterie et Sam Laurent à la guitare.
De cette nouvelle formation émane un mélange singulier qui marrie notes déglinguantes et rythmes basiques, offrant le lit aux choeurs mélodramatiques guidés par un chant déluré.
Sur scène, ils forment un véhicule que l'auditeur peut prendre vers son propre univers, lui offrant un voyage à la fois imprévisible et intense.
