Biography

Al P. Horn & The Funkpreachers - live – is a blend mixture of delightful playing and solid musical craft. Old School Funk & Jazz would probably be the best definition fort hat destillate extracted of various styles from the past 50 years and refined by the individual musicians.

The Alphorn, which is organically embedded in the groove-orientated sound is an extra-ordinary and smart conducted ingredient of the Bernese Band.

The set contains mainly original music and some tunes i.e. ‚The Funky Meters’ or Jazz from ‚Stanley Turrentine’ „The Funkiest Alphorn In The World“; Kindling arrangements, ‚pumping’ Grooves and soloistic brilliance affiliate to an enthusiastic and strong performance. In 2007 featuring Special Guest Menk Grossniklaus from Patent Ochsner on the other horns.
