Alysha J. Talbot lives in Mauritius, but born in Switzerland, she always felt like a child of our planet and travelled to many corners of the world. She has lived in American regions such as Los Angeles and Nashville, and now built a base on this inspiring island in the Indian Ocean.
After everything had started with Americana and Country, Alysha now writes songs in the fields of Pop, Contemporary, Guitar-Pop-Rock (as known by the Corrs, Sheryl Crow or Meja), some with R&B and Dance influence and now, of course, with flavoured with some of island music.
Today Alysha also breathes her spirituality into her music and works on a "Spiritual-Worldmusic-Pop" project. Formerly known as an artist under the pseudonym "Jacky Woodridge", she had releases in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and Benelux and won the popular "Schlagerbarometer" contest on Swiss national radio DRS with her country composition "Take it Easy".
Alysha further co-wrote with Asha Elfenbein (London) the song "Think Positive", and Kirk Delano Thorne (Nice Music, London/Tenerife) the song "Do you know how it feels" and co-produced Salvo's "The Way Back Home".
