Andy Bopp is a Swiss guitarist, composer and producer with more than four decades of stage experience. His music moves between Latin, Afrobeat, soul, R&B, pop and jazz, combining organic guitar sounds with contemporary, internationally influenced productions.
In the early 2000s, he founded Corazón Latino, a project bringing together musicians from Switzerland and Colombia. This collaboration produced, among other works, the album “Desde Barranquilla”, recorded in Barranquilla. He also continues to perform regularly with Acoustic Latin Guitars and in various solo and duo formations.
One of his current main projects is AMAYLI, an international studio collaboration featuring singers from different parts of Africa. At the same time, Andy Bopp works closely with Thai singer Pla Suchaya. Their songs “I Fell For You”, “Just Us” and “Mantega” combine Pla’s sensitive and versatile voice with Andy Bopp’s guitar playing, songwriting and production, creating a distinctive blend of pop, soul, R&B and world music.
