Anna Smith knew from the age of seven that she wanted to be a pop singer – and since then, her life has revolved around everything directly or indirectly related to being an artist. Growing up in a house full of music, with both parents being professional (classical) musicians, she never questioned whether music was a viable career. She saw firsthand how much discipline and practice it takes and started early with vocal lessons as well as piano and guitar.
As a teenager, she became part of the social media creator scene, discovered her love for video creation, and built an online community. This led to the opportunity to perform at Hallenstadion, and in 2019, she won the Swiss Influencer Award in the Talent category. At the same time, she developed a strong passion for vocal production and songwriting. From her very first releases, she took charge of recording and vocal production for her own songs, and she now produces her music herself – including "Care Less".
Her music revolves around themes such as breaking free from unhealthy relationships or friendships and setting healthy boundaries. With each song, she gives her listeners a boost of confidence – especially in moments when they need it the most.
Fans can look forward to new music, as she is currently working on her debut album, where she will introduce brand-new musical facets. In addition to her own music, she earned a Master’s degree in Pop Singing from the Zurich University of the Arts and currently works as an Assistant Engineer at the renowned Powerplay Studios in Maur.
