Λntipodes were founded in 2020 by Matt Cellini (vocals) and Manuel Wunderlich (keys) as a studio project. The musical identity that was developed was emotionally too deep, musically too uncompromising and technically too adept to not bring it to the stage. With the experienced musicians Stu Olivo (bass) and Attila Nemeth (drums) the perfect comrades-in-arms were found and in 2023 the first songs with the accompanying music videos were released.
With this material under the belt Λntipodes not only play simple concerts, but also deliver a fully fletched stage show: Playing music within their very own musical cosmos, somewhere in the between IN FLAMES, KATATONIA and ALTER BRIDGE, keyboard-drenched and infused with electronic and cinematic elements. In short: simply good music that leaves the listener speechless.
