A-Poetik is an electronic music band based on a collective association of artists and producers.
The idea is to work with new technologies and reproduction skills for text, sound and visuals.
The first performance, in December 96, used turntables, samplers, guitars, voice, mixing board, soundeffects and media installations.
In 2002, after different collaborations for films scoring, advertising and sound system installations, A-Poetik started to work on a more instrumental way. The duo propose an electro-acoustic sound system for a music in a constant evolution.
Electronic music
In 1997, during the first swiss tour, the band met Al Comet in Zurich, keyboard player for the Young Gods. This swiss musician and veteran in sampling and electronic music will be soon interested in A-poetik's music. This friendship and artistic collaboration will be materialized, after 3 years of musical progression and tour experiences, by the first album, arranged by Al Comet and produced by A-poetik with a Universal Music distribution.
