A R B Ë R E S H Ë is the solo live project of a multi-instrumentalist exploring Albanian musical heritage through a deeply personal lens. Drawing on traditional songs from Kosova, Albania and North Macedonia, she transforms inherited melodies into intimate soundscapes, blending voice, guitar, frame drums, shruti box and live looping. Through hypnotic repetition, subtle layers and shifting rhythms, her music moves between ancestral echoes and contemporary textures.
Her debut album NARTA will be released in January 2027 on the Italian independent label Zero Nove Nove. Named after the endangered Vjosa–Narta wetlands in southern Albania, the album draws a parallel between natural and cultural ecosystems, exploring the delicate balance between preservation and transformation.
After taking part in the MOST Sessions in Šibenik in 2025, she performed at the SoAlive Music Conference (SAMC) in Sofia in 2026 and was placed on the WOMEX 2026 standby list. In 2027, she will appear at ESNS in Groningen.
