Arthur Hnatek (pronounced Na-tek), a virtuoso drummer, is a contemporary Swiss musician who constantly reinvents himself.
Active as a producer and electronic musician, his solo project explores the boundaries between improvisation and functional club music with his drums and modular synths.
Recently, he released two EPs (SWIMS 2020, Why So Much Hope 2022) and a collaboration with Taut (Jojo Mayer) with whom he released Ritual and then Polychroma. His music is supported by BBC Radio 6 and named "Best Swiss Electronic Track" by SRF3.
The jazz musician known for having travelled the world alongside Tigran Hamasyan and Erik Truffaz delivers his SWIMS navigating between electronica beats and textures evocative of the Warp records legacy.
