Biography

Singer and guitarist Roger Gahler and drummer Simon Honegger have long since felt the urge to spend a lot of time making music. After a creative year and writing the first songs, Roger and Simon were on the lookout for another guitarist, a bassist and a pianist. In 2003 they got lucky and the desired lineup was complete. Several years passed and in their best days ASOOL played the Burg Clanx Festival in Appenzell, rocked more than once the Grabenhalle St. Gallen and hit the stage in the Gaswerk Winterthur and Abarth Zurich. After a personnel change in 2008, they were forced to take a break and rack their brains how to keep going with one guitar less. Quite soon, the desire to record a new album and get back in front of an audience grew stronger and stronger. Now, after spending many hours in the bandroom, ASOOL is back with new songs and ready to hit the stage!
