The Yorkshire-born singer spent many years working in London as a credit controller, a career that allowed her to travel and connect with people from all walks of life. This diverse range of experiences ultimately led her to embrace music. In 2023, Milli began transforming her words into songs to breathe new life into her unique experiences, infusing her music with the emotions and lessons she’s learned along the way.

Beyond the Music
Alongside her songwriting, Milli finds joy in storytelling. Her novel, “Whispers from the Deep,” is a quirky British murder mystery featuring a retired detective, laced with dry wit and dark humour. Written during her holidays by Lake Neuchâtel, Switzerland, the book will be released on 22 September 2025.
Her memoir, 'Raised by Cold Hands,' is a raw account of surviving a childhood marked by abuse, betrayal, and trauma. It begins in Yorkshire and follows her journey to rebuild her life in Switzerland, scheduled for release in 2026.
