“Average The Boy,” whose real name is Luca Moser, is 21 years old and comes from Steinhausen, Canton Zug. In 2021, he began producing his own music.
For his album “WEEKness,” he won second prize at the 2024 Canton Zug High School Graduation Project Awards. In May 2025, rapper EAZ took notice of him and invited him to his studio. Following that, “Average” released the EP “Some Average Songs 4 U,” which was produced, recorded, and mixed by ROB. He is currently continuing to work with ROB, Aemka, PABLITO, and, most recently, RUCK P on his next solo project.
When “Average The Boy” performs live, he is backed by the band “Concrete Jungle.” They play not only songs by “Average,” but also covers of well-known R&B/funk and pop songs. In the winter of 2026, they recorded an album together featuring new “live versions” of old “Average The Boy” songs.
After graduating from high school, Luca Moser completed military music recruit training and is currently studying business administration at the University of Zurich.
