Backwash was founded at the beginning of the new millenium, in the year 2000. Since then they dedicated themselves to energetic rock'n'roll.
More than ten years of Backwash history has passed (including gigs with Hardcore Superstar, The Quireboys, Turbonegro, Nashville Pussy, Krokus, Steel Panther) and there's way more to come...
In 2003 they released their first and selfproduced EP „Feel Rock“, which was heard throughout Switzerland and got good responses from the media. Three years later, in 2006, they stuck all their energy into the recording of their first Album „Kick Ass“, which opened the door to great shows and made them get heard in Switzerland’s rock scene. Many shows later and after some changes in the band's line up (one guitar instead of two and a new singer), it was 2013 they released their second album „Backwash“. They where back in business!
These four sympathetic guys know how to unite drive, groove and power to capture the audience from the first song to the last one, satisfaction guaranteed. Time to make drumsticks to saw dust, to let bass lines rumble like thunder of the ancient gods and to rock as hard as guitars and microphones are made to rock for.
No foot will stay on the ground, no voice will remain silent. Time for Backwash, time for party!!
