We are Bad & Free Band, a Swiss-Italian band from Lugano, whose name and part of whose repertoire are inspired by the British rock bands Free (1968–1974) and later Bad Company (from 1974 to the present day).
The band offers fresh sounds and musical elements characterized by memorable melodies, essential harmonies, and a compelling rhythm, recreating the atmosphere of British blues-rock as it emerged from London's underground scene of the 1970s. During the first half of that decade, this vibrant musical environment, enriched by a flourishing cultural movement, became the setting for decisive attempts to move beyond the essence of the Beat era and to foster the maturation of Rock Blues music in all its many branches and stylistic developments.
