All started 1996 in DJ-Jam-Sessions together with Bernese Locals DJ Spider, Dario Benjamin & MC Manu in a small garage in the inner city of Berne. Soon a Sampler has been bought and from the Yamaha SU700 the first own-produced Beatpoet Beats came out.
2012 Beatpoet & MC Manu joined with local Rappers from the East-Bern Rap-Crew "Ds Quartier" and started a new Rap Mixtape-Series called "AUDIO TT" by the name of TEILER Gang. Between 2013 and 2016 Vol. 1, 2 & 3 of the AUDIO TT-Series have been released. Besides other Beatmakers, Beatpoet has contributed a large part of the Beats used in this mixtape series.
With "Global Warn Gring" Beatpoet has ventured the steps towards a Solo Album, that includes lots of different genres like Electro, Nu-Disco, Oriental Trap & Trip-Hop. The Album which features brother Roland was released in Double Vinyl 12“ on 2016-01-31.
As a huge fan of labels like Ninja Tune, Mo Wax, Wall Of Sound & Warp Beatpoet always was an enthusiast for the UK underground music scenes.
In early 2017 Beatpoet produces a Grime-oriented Swiss Rap Collabo-Release with TEILER Rapper Mac Daddy called „CHrime Time“.
