Ben Lucas (real name Benjamin Marti) is a singer-songwriter from Sissach, near Basel (CH). His lyrics tell stories from life and, together with creative melodic ideas, make for catchy listening experiences. Ben Lucas wants to share his passion for music with a wide audience and move people with his songs.
After writing over 100 songs in English, Ben Lucas has been sharing his ideas with his audience in Swiss German since autumn 2022. He is often no longer alone on stage, but plays together with Pablo Guirado (bass) and Michael Meier (drums) in a trio that regularly gets his audience dancing and singing along.
Ben Lucas released his first dialect EP Nur E Fahrgast in May 2023, which can be aptly described by terms like "butterflies in the stomach", "abysses" but also "brainwaves on a merry-go-round". Our life has many things in store for us, and so it is often very dynamic. We go through positive as well as negative phases, and yet we must never forget that we are only a small part of something much bigger, that we are only E passengers in this world.
