Biography

What one notices first is Billie Bird's voice. The warm and airy tone conveys a rare and fairly unique touch that doesn't sound like anything heard before. The arrangements aim for simplicity with vocals and accoustic guitar, in the pure folk songs tradition, but with that ambient twist that makes her music sound somewhat out of this world.
Billie Bird aka Elodie Romain has been playing the guitar since the age of 9 and started singing in her teenage years as the early conflicts and questions of reaching adulthood led her to writing.
